People Competencies
This screen is used to record an employee's skills and /or qualifications as they are obtained. When an employee has successfully completed a training course that has a competency attached, the skills gained will be automatically updated.

Rules and Guidelines
- Competencies may be entered directly into this screen.
- Once the employee is selected, any competencies achieved will be displayed.
- This information is displayed in level number order - Level 1 competencies are listed first followed by Level 2 competencies etc.
- After a record is saved, any Level 2 or 3 competencies automatically display the higher level in the summary window; however the completion status field displays as Partial until all levels of the required competency have been achieved.
- After the record has been saved, any competencies linked to the competencies entered will also be displayed.

- Information entered on this window could be accessible to the employee when logging into Employee Self Service.

This field displays the Competency Code used for that particular performance review.

This field displays the Competency Level appropriate for the performance review.

This field displays the proficiency level attained by the employee.
- Proficiency levels will be left blank for Level 1 competencies.

This field displays the date the competency was obtained by the employee.
- If the competency is obtained as a result of attendance on a course, this field will automatically populate with the course completion date.

This field displays the attained Proficiency Level of the employee.

This field displays the date the competency was last assessed.

The date of the next review can be entered - if this competency involves regular reviews.

The expiry date can be entered - if this competency is subject to an expiry date.

This field displays the number of points accrued by the employee for this competency level.

Does the employee use this competency as part of their daily work?

The name of the person or organisation who certified this level of proficiency (for the employee) in this competency.
